One of the most effective ways to make your pictures more interesting to the eye is to change the angle that you’re shooting from.
How to(forget about the composition rules):
1)Try to shoot from low and high angels..or..take a pictures from your waist level..it gives you a fresh look in your pictures..believe me!!
2)You dont have to take the whole 'body' in your shot..sometimes just take a part of the subject.this will be a 'wow' factor in yor photos.
3)Think about what is usually people will do when taking pictures of something..and do differently!(think outside of the box)
